Staying well
PyCon Namibia follows current guidance from the Namibian Ministry of Health.
- Hand sanitiser is available throughout the venues.
- Wearing a mask is a personal choice and is always respected.
- If you feel unwell, please stay home and let us know.
Medical services in Windhoek
Windhoek has high-standard medical facilities, and tap water is safe to drink throughout the city.

Personal safety
- Windhoek is one of Africa's safer capitals. Use the same common sense you would in any city.
- Use registered taxis or ride-hailing apps, and avoid walking alone late at night.
- Conference staff are easy to identify at every venue. Ask any of them if you need help.
