About the showcase

PyCon Namibia 2027 is creating a platform for Namibians to demonstrate real, working technology, and to connect with the people who can help take their projects further.

Your project could address a challenge in

  • Education
  • Healthcare
  • Agriculture
  • Finance
  • The environment
  • Renewable energy
  • Public services
  • Community development
  • Any area that helps Namibia

Who will see your work

The showcase puts your project in front of the people who can help it grow.

Developers
People who may want to contribute to your project.
Experts
People who can offer feedback and specialist knowledge.
Users and partners
Potential users and organisations you could work with.
Organisations
Companies and institutions looking for solutions.
Investors and supporters
People interested in backing promising technology projects.

This is different from a talk

The Project Showcase is not a conference talk or presentation proposal. You don't need to prepare a talk on a technical topic. You show something you have actually built.

Project Showcase

Demonstrate what you built

  • Show your working project and how it works
  • Explain what it does and who it helps
  • Meet people who could use, support or contribute to it

Applications open January 2027

Call for Proposals

Give a talk or workshop

  • Present on a topic to a conference audience
  • Share what you learned, not only what you built
  • Reviewed separately from the showcase

The call for proposals has closed

Want to speak as well? Submit a talk proposal separately.

Applying to the Project Showcase does not enter you into the talk programme. If you would also like to give a talk about your project or anything else, submit a proposal through the Call for Proposals. We encourage showcase applicants to do both.
