PyCon Namibia needs volunteers!

PyCon Namibia is organised by the Python Programming Society of Namibia. All of our team are volunteers. We are looking for new members to join and help run our 2019 conference, and future events.

Volunteering is a great opportunity to meet people, make new friends and learn new things.

As a volunteer you get a free ticket to the conference as a thank you for your contribution.

Volunteers are needed to:

• raise funds, by identifying, writing to and following up with potential sponsors
• encourage local businesses or organisations to send their employees as attendees
• review talk proposals
• help speakers practice their talks and workshops
• help plan and organise social activities
• help in the smooth running of the conference itself
• ... and more
